NSW:Labor MP could block electricity inquiry

A Labor MP who was suspended for supporting porn sellers says she has serious concerns
about the legality of the inquiry into the state power sale.

Upper House President AMANDA FAZIO has the power to withdraw the resources of parliament
from the committee and yesterday voiced her concerns about the inquiry into the assets
sell-off.

Ms FAZIO .. who was suspended from the Labor Party in October after she crossed the
floor on a bill dealing with the sale of pornography .. says her suspension will have
no impact.

She's told The Daily Telegraph she has serious concerns about legal and constitutional
issues concerning the inquiry .. and she'll seek advice from the Crown Solicitor and the
Clerk of the Parliament when parliament resumes.
